Dhorasoo, 38, retired in 2008 and played just a single season with the Parisiens during his club career. Although he helped the side win the 2006 Coupe de France, he had a falling-out with then coach Guy Lacombe and made a premature exit from the club.
He has paid attention to the manner in which the noveau riche club have gone about forming an expensively-assembled squad. The side have signed the likes of Ezquiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva, Javier Pastore, Jérémy Ménez, Blaise Matuidi, Mohamed Sissoko, Thiago Motta and Alex over two transfer windows.
But despite the host of star names signed at the club, the capital club ended the previous season in second place, losing out to Montpellier for the Ligue 1 title.
However, it's their rumoured interest in Ibrahimovic that Dhorasoo takes particular umbrage over.
Deriding him as a 31-year-old - the Swede is 30 - the former France international stated that he was flabbergasted when he heard of the initial report.
"We died laughing. 30 or 40 million euros transfer fee for a player of 31 years, what!" Dhorasoo was quoted as saying in So Foot magazine.
"Yes, Qataris can buy what they want. Even human beings. The man may as well be named Zlatan, Kaka, Tevez, they do not care. They just want them to be expensive.
"They are like the guys who know nothing about good booze."
