19 year-old Moura has been identified as a player of great potential. The midfielder is not only a regular starter for Sao Paulo, but his talent has also earned him 11 caps for his country.
Inter Milan's initial bid of 18 million Euros was turned down by Sao Paulo in January. However, it is believed Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti still considers the Brazilian an ideal acquisition, as the Italian club begin rebuilding after a disappointing Serie A season. Although Inter are keen to make an improved bid, they are wary of spending excessively on an unproven youngster.
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is also a known admirer of Moura's talents, with the Portuguese personally scouting the player during one of Brazil's recent friendly games. Real are likely to follow up on Mourinho's interest with a bid, drawing the Nerazzuri into a price war that the Italian side will likely lose.
Moura's agent has indicated that the player is not keen to join Inter at this time, preferring instead of stay with his current employers.
