Inter signed the Porto midfielder in the January transfer window on a six-month loan deal, but the Colombia international has so far failed to play a game for the Nerazzurri.
Guarin's stint at Inter has been hampered by a calf problem although reports suggest the 25-year-old could feature against Atalanta.
"My team-mates have been a huge help over this time, as have the fans and the management" he told Inter Channel.
"I have a good rapport with everyone.
"I am here on a six-month loan, whether that is extended will be up to the club, but I am relaxed and all I can say is that I will give everything to show people what I can do.
"I am happy and I feel good. I will soon return to action, I am nearly ready and I hope to be at the level expected by a club such as this one."
Inter boss Claudio Ranieri has the option to make Guarin's move from Porto permanent on a four-year contract in the summer.
The midfielder joined the Portuguese giants from St Etienne in 2008.
