The Brazilian was one of several transfer targets set by Ancelotti after he was appointing manager of PSG. Though a proposed move for Pato in January failed to materialize, the Italian has revealed that his desire to bring his former player to France has not diminished.
"For now, the Pato option has collapsed, however, in June, we will evaluate numerous options, and he will be one of them." Ancelotti said to La Stampa.
The PSG manager also declared a recent rumor that the club were looking to sign Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero as untrue, as Ancelotti is looking to build a squad based on youth.
"I know Del Piero's qualities really well, but I won't be bringing him to PSG. Paris Saint-Germain are a club who need to invest in the future."
The French side have also been linked with Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain in recent weeks.
