Melo joined the Turkish giants at the beginning of the current season and although the former Fiorentina player is technically still on Juve's books, the Brazilian anchorman has made his intentions clear regarding a return back to Italy,
"It's pretty much impossible for me to wear the Juventus jersey again. I do not want to return to Juve. I always did my utmost for the team, but the fans criticized me a lot and gave me a very hard time," Melo said to Milliyet.
"I really want to stay at Galatasaray. I love the club and am enjoying my time here. The fans appreciate what I do for the team. Istanbul is a very modern city and it's a beautiful place."
While Galatasaray are keen on making the loan deal into a permanent one, it is unclear whether the Istanbul outfit have the cash to secure Melo's asking price.
Arch rivals Fenerbahce are known to be keen on the combative Melo and are poised to pounce for the Brazilian should the opportunity arises.
Melo's contract with the Bianconeri runs until 2014.
