The Bianconeri legend, who is in Dubai to accept an accolade from the Globe Soccer Awards alongside Real Madrid midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo, is adamant that he will not be retiring from football anytime soon.
"Hang up my boots? I'll still be playing in 10 years time," he cheekily quipped.
"Fortunately my legs are still working and I hope to keep on playing for a while."
"My future is Juve and I'm only thinking about playing."
Portuguese sensation Ronaldo also lavished praise on Juventus' all-time most-capped player and record goalscorer.
"He was very nice to me; it's proof that in football your image isn't created by the trophies you have won alone," Ronaldo remarked about his Italian counterpart.
Del Piero's name is etched into the record books of the Turin powerhouse with the elegant attacker having made more than 500 appearances for Juventus, scoring more than 200 times.
