Samp snap up Cassano
Sampdoria have completed the permanent signing of Italy forward Antonio Cassano.
The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the club, after having spent the season in Genoa on loan from Real Madrid.
A statement on the club's official website read: "UC Sampdoria announces it has acquired the sporting rights of Antonio Cassano from Real Madrid. The player has signed a contract until June 30, 2013."
