Pazzini suffered an ankle injury while playing in midweek for Inter as they beat CSKA Moscow 3-2 in UEFA Champions League Group B action.
It was first thought the injury would see the striker sidelined for some time but the Italy international now admits he is in contention to make the Napoli crunch clash.
"The ankle is feeling much better now compared to how it felt at the end of the game against CSKA," Pazzini told ANSA.
"I will do all I can to be there against Napoli and there are still two days to go until the game."
Inter's opponents Napoli have not been so fortunate as it looks likely that their star striker Edinson Cavani will miss the tie due to an injury he picked up in midweek.
Napoli were also in European Cup action as they beat Villarreal 2-0 in their Group A clash.
"Cavani is an important loss for them, but [Napoli coach] Walter Mazzarri will be preparing his side to cope in his absence," Pazzini said.
Napoli will have it all to do if they want to halt manager Claudio Ranieri's winning start to life as Inter coach.
Ranieri replaced sacked Gian Piero Gasperini last week and guided his new team to a 3-1 victory over Bologna before Tuesday's 3-2 triumph at CSKA Moscow.
