The 65-year-old handed in his resignation but was promptly rejected by club president Claudio Lotito.
He was subsequently jeered in Lazio's 0-0 draw with Palermo last week but Reja believes that is a thing of the past.
"I am confident and convinced that this team can do well in this league because we have the means and the quality," Reja told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"With me? Yes, certainly with me," he stated.
Reja then went on to discuss his side's scoreless draw with Palermo, saying: "In the second half the boys created three or four opportunities.
"We hoped to achieve victory, but we will recover. I am convinced the team can do even more."
Lazio are currently 10th in Serie A and will play Fiorentina next.
