Pier Paolo Bisoli's side slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Fiorentina in their first match while Lecce were beaten by the same scoreline at home by Udinese.
Bologna will fancy their chances of picking up a three-point haul tomorrow as they lost just five of their 19 games at the Renato Dall' Ara stadium last season, but Pulzetti is taking nothing for granted.
"We know Lecce are a side we have to treat with care," Pulzetti said. "The coach has reminded us of this and he is preparing tactically for the match in the best possible way.
"We want to put the defeat in Florence behind us.
"We didn't play well and we were nervous, which is normal considering it was the first game of the campaign.
"But I'm certain our determination will emerge on Sunday.
"We will play in front of our home fans and we cannot lose."
Bologna will also be bolstered by the return of Jose Angel Crespo, Daniele Vantaggiato and Gaston Ramirez from suspension for tomorrow's match.
Uruguay forward Gaston Ramirez is set to partner Marco Di Vaio in Bologna's attack. Di Vaio scored in his team's 2-0 home win over Lecce last year.
Lecce captain Guilermo Giacomazzi admits his side have plenty to do following their losing start to the season.
"We have a lot of work to do and we must continue to improve," he said.
"We just have to put the defeat to Udinese behind us and follow our game plan to beat Bologna."
The Giallorossi won just four times on the road last season and finished 17th in the standings.
