Menez agent reveals Montella problem
Roma's Jeremy Menez does not see eye to eye with new coach Vincenzo Montella, according to agent Alain Migliaccio.
Menez had revealed in an interview with L'Equipe on Sunday that his future at Roma was 'uncertain' due to his displeasure at not starting more often under Montella.
His agent Migliaccio now claims that Menez desires to stay at the Stadio Olimpico, but will consider his options if he does not get more playing time.
Speaking to Calciomercato.it, Migliaccio revealed: "Menez wants to stay in Rome and has no intention of leaving."
"Montella has a problem with him as he has played little under him. Under Ranieri he [Menez] was happy and was a hit, but under the new coach he is not."
The agent was also quick to reveal that Menez's future at the club was far from certain, with many clubs in waiting to pick him up.
"He is a good player but his future will depend on decisions made by the club."
"Jeremy's contract expires a year from now, nobody has offered to renew it."
"Will he go to Arsenal? So far [manager Arsene] Wenger has not told me anything about his interest, but there are teams other than Arsenal."
Menez started his career tipped to be one of the brightest prospects in French football but has yet to fulfil his potential since joining Roma in 2008.
