Inter claimed a 4-0 win over 10-man Cittadella while Atalanta had to work a bit harder to overcome Bari 3-0.

Jonathan opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri after 17 minutes before Simone Pecorini was sent off and Rodrigo Palacio doubled the lead from the penalty spot 14 minutes before the break.

Palacio was on target again in the 59th minute and just five minutes later Andrea Ranocchia completed the scoring.

A first-half double from Marko Livaja put Atalanta in control of their tie and Giuseppe De Luca added a third 16 minutes from the end.
