Geylang United were leading Gombak United 1-0 at the Bedok Stadium when play was halted in the 67th minute.

In an evenly-contested first half, the Eagles edged ahead just before the break when Slovakian forward Jozef Kaplan found the back of the net.

Both sides came out for the second half looking increasingly adventurous, but before either side could grab another goal, play was temporarily suspended due to the increasingly averse weather conditions, before the match was eventually abandoned.

It was the same scenario over at the Yishun Stadium, with Harimau Muda leading 1-0 in their game against Balestier Khalsa, courtesy of a 12th-minute penalty from Thamil Arasu.

According to S.League rules, both games will now be replayed in entirety when they are eventually rescheduled.
