Atletico receive Falcao boost
Atletico Madrid have received a boost after it was revealed star striker Radamel Falcao's injury is not as bad as initially feared.
Falcao, Atletico's leading scorer with 18 league goals this season, pulled up holding his left hamstring while sprinting during the second half of yesterday's Primera Division match with Levante.
However, Atletico confirmed that scans have not shown any sign of a tear in the muscle, which will come as a relief to the high-flying Rojiblancos
Atletico have not yet said how long they expect the Colombia international to be out for, but will hope to have him available again as soon as possible as they chase silverware on three fronts this season.
