The dour stalemate meant Los Leones have now won just one of their last ten games in all competition, and are currently 16th in La Liga and a point out of the relegation zone.
Nonetheless, Bielsa believes there are positives that can be drawn from Wednesday's game, despite admitting his side were dominated by their third-tier opponents.
"Overall, the draw is fine because in the first half we suffered from their attacks and could not avoid being dominated by them," he said after the match. "But in the second, we had more possession.
"In addition, in the first half they showed there was no difference in level between the two teams. We were getting worse as the play went on and we ended up playing badly and deserved to fall behind, even if the opponent didn't score.
"But we played better in the second half and deserved a goal ourselves. With our form in mind, strangely I cannot feel disappointed with a draw. It is difficult to accept but the first step in any operation is to act with humility and we are required to accept the negative situation as it is.
"It may sound exaggerated to be not particularly disappointed with this result but it would be more arrogant to admit otherwise after the first half we produced."
Bilbao are next in action on Sunday when they visit Granada in the league.
