Falcao opened the scoring in Sunday's 2-1 La Liga win over Malaga after heading home an Emre Belozoglu cross in the sixth minute, racking up his 11th goal of the season in the process.

The feat was witnessed by Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini, who was reportedly at the Vicente Calderon casting his eye on the Colombia international, leading to rumours the Barclays Premier League champions are preparing a swoop in the January transfer window.

Nonetheless, the Rojiblancos chief insists he has no concerns over the long-term future of the 26-year-old.

"We know that Mancini has come to watch the game but we are calm on the topic of Falcao," he told Cadena Ser.

"I guess Mancini came here to search for a home in Malaga."

Falcao netted 36 goals in all competition in his first year in Spanish football last season, and his form has continued in the current campaign as his goals have propelled Atletico to second in La Liga.
