Malaga appear to be fighting a losing battle to keep Venezuelan forward Rondon at the club after they confirmed that several 'substantial' offers have been received for the services of the talented player.
"Rondon has had substantial offers from both Germany and England," Pellegrini told AS.
The former Las Palmas player has been linked with a move away from Los Boquerones after yet another impressive season in Spain; Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all reportedly keen to sign the 23-year-old.
Signalling his wish for Rondon to remain at the club as he seeks to build oil-funded Malaga into a La Liga powerhouse, Pellegrini said: "To stay here, to have time to demonstrate his worth, it has been important to Malaga and hopefully we can have him for longer."
But Pellegrini admitted it was hard to make any player 'untransferable' and said: "It is difficult to know what will happen."
Rondon joined Malaga in 2010 and made 40 appearances for the club last season, scoring 11 goals in the process.
