The Czech Republic international, who recently put in a string of impressive displays at Euro 2012, is currently available on a free transfer as his contract with Turkish giants Besiktas is about to expire.
And it now appears a move to La Liga could be on the cards after his agent revealed Sevilla are one of the clubs keen on securing his services, although Besiktas are also said to be interested in offering him a new deal.
"We have opened official talks with Sevilla and would like to having things sorted out as soon as possible," Mueller told CTK.
"We also have registered interest from a club in the [Barclays] Premier League and Besiktas have come back into the race as they want to keep Tomas."
The 28-year-old has 30 caps for Czech Republic to his name and spent one season playing in Serie A with Udinese.
