Debuchy reveals Valencia interest
Lille full-back Mathieu Debuchy has revealed La Liga outfit Valencia are preparing to make an offer for him in the summer.
The French international has been in fine form this season, and was also part of the Lille side that won both Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France last term.
And while his performances have seen him linked to a host of the continent's top sides, the 26-year-old reveals he is aware that Valencia hold a concrete interest in procuring his services.
"It is part of my thinking," Debuchy told L'Equipe. "I know Valencia are interested in me.
"But I'm focused on Ligue 1 for now. I want to end my season positively here before thinking about a possible transfer.
"I have to accept that I am under contract and I won't make the choice."
Should Debuchy move to Valencia, it would see him reunite with former team Adil Rami, who has established himself as an integral member of Unai Emery's side since moving to the Mestalla last summer.
