The Portuguese sensation intimated last September that fans of rival clubs had barracked him not only due to their jealousy of his fantastic footballing abilities, but also because of his good looks and status.
"Style is very important," he told Spanish magazine DT.
"Football comes first, but my image comes second. They go hand in hand. It is vital to do magnificent things on the field, but it is also important to have a good image off it, and that is what I try to do."
"Perhaps some people do not like my style, but I am who I am and I hope they can respect that. I will not change to please others and I hope my personality will be captured in my [Nike] clothing line."
"I like looking good. I can open the wardrobe in the morning and look for an hour before I decide what to wear."
The former Manchester United midfielder also highlighted that he does not have any difficulties in maintaining his physique.
"As a professional sportsman, my physical shape and health are crucial for me, but I do not pay much attention to it," he added.
"They are important in my work, but they are not the most important factor. I am lucky because I have good genes."
"For example, during the offseason I may relax for several days and I do not gain weight. Some players are not that lucky. I go to the gym a couple of times a week but I eat well and I have a healthy lifestyle. This is key: live well, eat correctly and sleep well at night."
"If you do not do this, it is possible that you will not reach the levels which are required to train and play."
Ronaldo has hit an incredible 21 La Liga goals in 18 league matches for Madrid as Jose Mourinho's charges currently hold an impressive five point advantage of arch rivals Barcelona.
