Guardiola has led Barca to three straight La Liga crowns as well as securing the UEFA Champions League twice in three seasons.
Barca president, Sandro Rosell has revealed that the Catalans are now just waiting for Guardiola to accept the terms of a new proposed deal.
"We are doing everything possible for Guardiola to continue," Rosell told Al Jazeera.
"For him, the door of our office is always open and the contract is ready.
"He can choose to sign for a year, two, three of four. Or even if he wants, he can sign for one year with an option for another one, or an option for two more.
"The contract is on the table for him to feel happy and comfortable. He hope he will say 'yes' and that he stays with us."
Guardiola has consistently declined to commit his long-term future to the club as it is understood the former midfielder is not keen on a drawn out career on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Rosell has also responded to speculation linking his side with a move for Tottenham star Gareth Bale. Reports are tipping the reigning European and Spanish champions with a €40million for the Welsh wing wizard.
"I do not know if Bale interests us," Rosell said.
"If I did, I would not say, because his price would go up. They would not ask for €40million, but €50million.
"In any case, even if we wanted him, we would never pay €40million for him."
The Bale rumours were fuelled after a Barca scout was spotted at Spurs' 3-1 victory over Fulham last Sunday.
