Luiz is currently regarded as one of the most important players at Stamford Bridge after establishing himself as first-team regular since joining from Benfica in 2011.
Capable of playing both in defence and midfield, the Brazilian was a standout for the Blues last season as they qualified for the UEFA Champions League once more after finishing third on the table.
His sparkling displays have since seen him linked with a move to La Liga champions Barca, who are reportedly keen on bolstering their defence, but the Daily Mail believes Bayern Munich are also interested in the 26-year-old.
According to the report, Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, who has only recently taken over at the helm of the club, is a keen admirer of Luiz and, while he acknowledges his treble-winning side does not need drastic changes, believes they could do with reinforcements at the back.
Barca are also said to be keen on Paris St-Germain star Thiago Silva and if such a move does come true, it could also lead to the French giants making a move for Luiz.
Luiz was part of the Brazil side that recently beat Spain 3-0 to win the Confederations Cup, and has been earmarked as a future Chelsea captain.
