Boasting a commendable conversion rate of 10 goals in 22 Eredivisie appearances this season, Chadli has garnerd interest from various clubs across Europe.
His agent, Daniel Evard, told De Telegraaf that his client has received a significant offer from Ukranian side Shakhtar, but is unlikely to opt for it.
"It's hard to choose Ukraine this early in the transfer window, when everyone around him wants to see him play on a Saturday in the Premier League, a competition he wants to go to really bad," Evard stated.
"It's not easy for a player to take the right decision. Financially Shakhtar was very interesting and then it's hard to stay patient. But Chadli doesn't want to rush things."
Chadli's agent went on to relate the Belgium international's preference to secure a move to England before the start of pre-season, although Evard did not close the door on a late move either.
"He wants to start the pre-season at his new club, but I'm not ruling out that he will start at FC Twente at the beginning of July," he said.
"English clubs often buy players in the last stages of the window."
