The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move back to Spain with Barcelona.
The Catalans are understood to be on the lookout for a new custodian following Victor Valdes decision not to renew his contract with Barca once it expires at the end of next season.
Reina has poured cold water on the reports - and actually admitted he is a fan of Rodgers' more open style of play.
"My relationship with the manager is very good. We have got a lot in common - tactics and the way we see football is similar," he was quoted as saying by The Sun.
"I am very happy with our manager. He's making sure we are learning every day the way to win and that's important."
He added: "There's no doubt I am more involved with my feet than before - but so is the team."
"The amount of passes in every game is higher compared to last season.
"It's a different style and philosophy. I am happy about it. Given time and as long as the players follow him it will be good.
"It will become a great side - one which is difficult to beat."
Reina joined the Reds for £6million from Villarreal six years ago and is on course for 400 appearances for the Anfield outfit.
