Everton vs Man City

Everton will again be without goalkeeper Tim Howard and defender Phil Jagielka for tomorrow's Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester City at Goodison Park.

Howard broke two bones in his back in the FA Cup fifth-round replay at Oldham last month and Jan Mucha will continue to deputise, while Jagielka is recovering from surgery to repair a cut to his ankle.

Everton boss David Moyes will assess a couple of other players who picked up knocks in the defeat by Wigan last weekend while full-back Tony Hibbert (calf) may not play again this season.

Champions Manchester City are again without captain Vincent Kompany and striker Sergio Aguero for this weekend's Barclays Premier League trip to Everton.

Defender Kompany, who has missed the last seven games, continues to be troubled by calf issues while Aguero is in Argentina for treatment on the knee problem that has already sidelined him for two matches.

Right-backs Micah Richards and Maicon (both knee) and midfielder Jack Rodwell (hamstring) remain on the long-term casualty list.

Swansea vs Arsenal

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is hopeful of having midfielder Leon Britton available for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Arsenal.

Britton picked up a hip injury against West Brom last weekend but has made good progress in his recovery, while Luke Moore is set to shake off a calf problem.

Chico Flores (ankle) and Kemy Agustien (thigh) are again absent, but there is encouraging news for Neil Taylor after the left-back made his return from a broken and dislocated ankle for the Under-21s on Thursday.

Swansea (from): Vorm, Bartley, Tate, Williams, Britton, Michu, Hernandez, Dyer, Cornell, Lamah, Routledge, Monk, Shechter, Moore, De Guzman, Tiendalli, Rangel, Ki, Tremmel, Davies.

Arsenal will rest left-back Kieran Gibbs, who has just returned from a thigh injury, for tomorrow's trip to Swansea, where Nacho Monreal is available after being cup-tied in the Champions League.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and captain Thomas Vermaelen are in contention having sat out the 2-0 win in Bayern Munich.

However, England midfielder Jack Wilshere and striker Lukas Podolski (both ankle) are still out, as is full-back Bacary Sagna (knee).

Aston Villa vs QPR

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has no fresh injury worries ahead of tomorrow's Barclays Premier League relegation clash with QPR at Villa Park.

Striker Darren Bent (foot) and midfielder Karim El Ahmadi (ankle) are still ruled out along with long term casualties Chris Herd, Marc Albrighton, Richard Dunne and Gary Gardner.

Midfielder Fabian Delph will complete a two-game ban after collecting his 10th yellow card of the campaign during the 1-0 home defeat by Manchester City.

Aston Villa (from): Guzan, Given, Marshall, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Lichaj, Stevens, Baker, Bennett, Sylla, Ireland, Westwood, Dawkins, N'Zogbia, Bannan, Holman, Benteke, Agbonlahor, Bowery, Weimann.

Boss Harry Redknapp will be able to call upon key duo Adel Taarabt and Julio Cesar for tomorrow's trip to relegation rivals Aston Villa.

Both players have trained this week after they were absent for last weekend's 3-1 win over Sunderland at Loftus Road with knocks.

Full-back Armand Traore is the only major worry and was due to have a calf injury assessed in training today.

Stoke vs West Brom

Stoke are waiting to see whether Matthew Etherington will be fit enough to return to the side for tomorrow's Barclays Premier League clash with West Brom at the Britannia Stadium.

The winger has missed the last two games with a back problem and is again touch and go while striker Cameron Jerome is likely to be on the bench after being forced off with a knock to his knee in last weekend's defeat by Newcastle.

Defender Robert Huth serves the final game of a three-match ban so full-back Marc Wilson will again deputise alongside captain Ryan Shawcross in the centre.

Southampton have a clean bill of health heading into Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Danny Fox and Steven Davis were the only absentees in last weekend's 0-0 draw at Norwich but could feature for Mauricio Pochettino's side at St Mary's.

Vegard Forren played for the under-21s again on Monday so is a step closer to fitness.

The Spain international missed last weekend's win over Tottenham with a calf injury but manager Brendan Rodgers decided to include the 30-year-old in the group after training this afternoon.

Midfielder Joe Allen has a shoulder problem but it will not prevent him being included in the squad.

Nani and Phil Jones both miss out on Manchester United's Barclays Premier League encounter with Reading at Old Trafford.

Winger Nani injured his hamstring against Chelsea last weekend, while the versatile Jones has been out since hurting his ankle in the FA Cup clash with the Royals four weeks ago.

Midfielder Paul Scholes (knee) is also out as United look to maintain their 12-point lead over Manchester City.

That defeat prompted Brian McDermott's dismissal as manager, with the club four points from safety, and caretaker boss Eamonn Dolan will also be without winger Kebe (groin). Pavel Pogrebnyak serves the last part of his three-game ban while fellow striker Jason Roberts (hip) is likely to miss the rest of the season.

Winger Aaron Lennon should return to the starting line-up after he came off the bench in Milan following his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Former Fulham forward Clint Dempsey (calf) is expected to be available, but defender Younes Kaboul and midfielder Sandro (both knee) are out.

Goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi, rested last weekend, is set to return to the starting line-up.

The 26-year-old France international will miss the rest of the season if, as manager Alan Pardew fears, he needs an operation on the hamstring he tore in December.

However compatriot Yohan Cabaye has a chance of playing at the DW Stadium despite limping out of Thursday night's 1-0 Europa League victory over Anzhi Makhachkala, while full-back Mathieu Debuchy and striker Yoan Gouffran, who are ineligible in Europe, return to the squad.

Ba was ineligible for the Europa League defeat of Steaua Bucharest, when Torres scored the decisive goal, missed a late penalty and suffered a bloody nose.

Frank Lampard, who was an unused substitute against the Romanians, could feature against his former club with the midfielder eyeing his 200th Chelsea goal, while long-term injury victim Oriol Romeu (knee) is the only definite absentee.
