Borini's agent Marco De Marchi has made it clear that the player will not leave Liverpool in the near future following Fiorentina's director Daniele Prade's comments that the club has identified Borini as a possible transfer target in the summer.
"His future is definitely at Liverpool," De March told The Sun. "He's signed a long-term deal with one of the most glorious sides in the world game.
"From now think only to work hard to get back as soon as possible in the field. Needless to say he's had an unlucky season."
Borini joined Liverpool from Roma in the summer but has only managed 16 appearances in all competitions for the Reds so far due to injury - the Italian dislocated his shoulder against former club Swansea, barely a month after recovering from a fractured foot injury suffered in October.
