Hazard has made a promising start to his Premier League career and has shined for the Blues. Nevertheless, many believe that the talented Belgian is eager to increase his profile and not necessarily a team player.
The 21-year-old insisted that he did not join the Premier League in order to "show off" and stated that he enjoys it just as much when his team-mates get top billing for their goals and performances.
"I love to set up my team-mates," he told Champions Matchday magazine.
"I am not here to be a star, to show off. I am here to play for the others, but if I have to try and clinch a game then I will."
The Belgium international also confessed that he finds it impressive at how famous the west London club is in the country. He also revealed that he is still doing his best to adapt and acclimatise himself to the new surroundings.
"It's totally different here. With Lille we could have gone to the South of France and people would not have recognised us. But at Chelsea, the players are at another level.
"Everything has changed for me - the language, the country - but it is up to me to adapt."
Hazard will likely next feature for Chelsea when they visit QPR on Saturday.
