Rush tells Liverpool to get on with it
Liverpool's legendary striker Ian Rush has urged the club to move on from the disappointment of the summer transfer window.

Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has a paper-thin group of first-team strikers at his disposal until trading re-opens in the winter transfer window after Andy Carroll was allowed to join West Ham on-loan.
Rodgers had hoped to bring in another recognised goal scorer to replace Carroll before the window shut but the club missed out on Fulham star Clint Dempsey.
As a result, Liverpool ace Luis Suarez only has new Anfield signing Fabio Borini as well as unproven youngsters like Adam Morgan and Samed Yesil to help him score the goals needed for the club to cement a top four finish in the Premier League.
The transfer deadline day debacle brought up an angry response from Liverpool fans, forcing the club's owners to issue an open letter to supporters. There had been some speculation that the club would move for free agent Michael Owen but the ex-Red signed for Stoke City earlier in the week.
Rush believes Liverpool have dealt themselves a bad hand but with the season set to resume next weekend, now is not the time to get bogged down in negativity.
"Yeah, [Liverpool] need another striker. I think Roger Hunt is coming back though," Rush joked with talkSPORT.
"Brendan can't do anything about it now so let's get on with it."
Rush is Liverpool's all-time leading goalscorer with 346 strikes in all competitions.
