Arsenal moved swiftly in the transfer market this summer, snapping up Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud, and Santi Carzola. As both Podolski and Giroud play in forward positions, Oxlade-Chamberlain is expecting the increased competition to push the other strikers to perform better this season.
"In training I'm seeing the likes of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, and then we have Gervinho and Theo Walcott too, so it's looking really good," he said to Arsenal Player.
"That brings strong and healthy competition, which can only push us on to do well. "
The former Southampton player was also full of praise for Podolski and Carzola, admiring the duo's technical qualities.
"The new strikers are looking really good - I think Podolski has one of the best shots I've ever seen. Olivier's isn't too bad either, he's scoring a few in training!" Oxlade-Chamberlain revealed.
"They all look like good signings. Santi looks fantastic too, he is the typical Spaniard; fantastic technically and lively. He can score, he can dribble and he looks like a brilliant player."
Despite the loss of top scorer Robin van Persie, Oxlade-Chamberlain revealed that manager Arsene Wenger's new signings have filled the Gunners with the belief.
"They are three players who I can say will add quality to the team. And their personalities too - they are really good lads," he shared.
"We've been speaking about positive energy in the camp and they bring it in abundance."
