The 24-year-old player, who has only 12 months left on his contract, recently turned down Fulham's offer of a contract extension, and the club are desperate to cash in on the Belgium international this summer.
Manchester United and Chelsea are hot on the trail of Dembele and according to the Daily Mail, both clubs have opened talks with the Cottagers over a move for the £10million rated attacking midfielder.
Champions League winners Chelsea are looking for a long term replacement to Frank Lampard while Sir Alex Ferguson is seeking to inject more creativity into his midfield and it would appear that playmaker Dembele fits the bill for both clubs.
Dembele had also hinted at an exit from the club and previously expressed his interest in playing for a club in the Champions League.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Dembele's agent Rodger Linse said: ‘It fits Mousa's ambitions perfectly to become the replacement for someone like Frank Lampard one day, just as playing in the Champions League does as well.'
Dembele made 60 appearances for Fulham since joining from AZ Alkmaar in 2010 and is well known for his dribbling skills and close control of the ball.
