Having hit a rich vein of form at the tail end of the season, Carroll appears to finally be living up to his 35 million pound price tag. Aldridge hopes the Englishman maintains his good performances during the summer, so that Liverpool can benefit at the start of the next Premier League campaign.
"I think for the last month he's been superb, he's been trying very hard. Things weren't going right for him and he had a lack of confidence but he's just brought it all together and he's obviously worked hard on the training ground with Kenny, Steve Clarke and Kevin Keen," he said to Liverpoolfc.tv.
"It's paying dividends and I think it's one massive, massive positive going into next season."
Uruguayan striker Suarez was one of the club's more consistent performers this season, and Aldridge is eager for both Carroll and Suarez to hammer in the goals for the Reds.
"I think we've seen, at first hand, how strong Suarez and him can be. We all know that on his day, Suarez is remarkable and Carroll's proved that he is. He's starting to pick up better positions in the box, " he stated.
"We can certainly look forward to next year."
