City have lost their lead at the top of the Premier League table, and now face a tough match-up against Chelsea. With rivals Manchester United handling a much easier challenge against Wolverhampton Wanderers, City could potentially trail the Red Devils by four points should they lose against their London opponents. Despite what is at stake, Hart is feeling confident that his team will take the victory against Chelsea.
"We need to play well in every game because there are not many left now. We're one point behind the leaders of the Premier League, we're a good team and we've got nothing to worry about." the Englishman told mcfc.co.uk.
"We'll go into the game against Chelsea as favourites - and we should be favourites."
The custodian will also be hoping that his side get awarded a penalty, as he believes there's no better spot-kick taker than team-mate Mario Balotelli. The Italian striker has a 100% record when it comes to taking penalties for City and Hart revealed that he hardly ever manages to stop the Italian's spot-kicks in training.
"Yeah, I hate to say it, he’s one of the best I’ve ever faced, he's got this mad ability where he doesn't need to look at the ball." Hart declared.
"If you don't move he kicks it in the corner; if you do move he kicks it the other way – it’s almost impossible to stop."
City will welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium for their Premier League fixture this Wednesday.
