The 19-year-old has been signed on a loan deal to the Trotters for the remainder of the season on the last day of the transfer window.
Miyaichi, who is looking forward to playing with his new club, has shared his hopes in repeating the success of his former Arsenal teammate Wilshere when he was on loan to Bolton during the second half of the 2009-10 Premier League season.
"Two days ago Jack Wilshere said to me that Bolton is a good club and they have nice supporters. He said that I would become a better player by playing here," he was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"I saw what Jack did here two years ago. Of course, I want to be like him and play well for Bolton."
The Japanese youngster also revealed that the Gunners had wished him all the best and told him to make the stay at Bolton worthwhile.
"Arsene Wenger wished me good luck and told me to go and enjoy myself when I get the chance to play. The captain Robin van Persie told me the same too." he said.
Miyaichi believes that his stay with the club will greatly improve his technical style, after facing them in action during Arsenal's 2-1 Carling Cup win over the Trotters, and has promised to give his best for the team.
"I played against Bolton in the Carling Cup a few months ago. I was impressed because they were a good technical team who passed the ball," he said.
"My style is to dribble with the ball so I'm excited to come here and play with some very famous players. I will try to do my best for the supporters, manager and my team-mates. I believe I'm going to improve as a player here, but I will need to work hard."
"I want to get to know the Bolton people and find out more about the town."
