Recent rumours suggest that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on taking Rami to Old Trafford, especially after a season-ending injury to Nemanja Vidic and doubts over the long-term fitness of Rio Ferdinand.
However, Rami has moved quickly to pledge his future to Valencia, and reveals he is keen on creating history at the Mestalla.
"Currently, I am only thinking about Valencia and fighting for a major trophy like the Copa del Rey," Rami told Superdeporte.
"Here I feel well and my desire is to become an important player of this historic team."
Nonetheless, the French international admits to being pleased at being linked to a club of United's stature.
"Of course, the interest of a team like United is nice, but it is not my goal."
Rami only joined Valencia this summer after a four year spell with Lille, where he won the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France double last season.
