The Spaniard recently sealed his move from Newcastle and has slotted in seamlessly in the left-back department at Anfield with an impressive debut which was followed by another strong performance in the 2-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday.
Speaking of his fledging career with the Reds, the 25-year-old believes the atmosphere at Anfield gave him goosebumps as he expressed his pride of wearing the Liverpool shirt.
"If you are a football person, you can't help being affected by Anfield," the Spanish left-back told LFC magazine.
"When you experience 'You'll Never Walk Alone' for the first time as a Liverpool player, you stand there and feel proud - it makes you feel stronger."
"The atmosphere here is very different to Spain because all of the stadiums here are full, always.
"When Spanish people come to Anfield for the first time, they are amazed because of the Kop, because of the singing.
Enrique has also shared some bit of his personal life before revealing his hopes of helping the Reds end their wait for a silverware.
"Everywhere I have been in my life, I have taken something. From Celta Vigo I met my girlfriend. We are still together.
"Then from Newcastle, I developed a new skill by learning English. From here, from Liverpool, I hope to take away trophies."
