Former Real Madrid playmaker Ozil showed fans just what the club had shelled out 43 million pounds for, when he created a myriad of opportunities in his first game for Arsenal and finished Saturday's fixture against Sunderland with an assist for team-mate Olivier Giroud.
Speaking to the club's official website, Ramsey marvelled at the German international's technical ability and was excited by the prospect of playing alongside Ozil more often.
"He's a fantastic player and is very gifted. He's going to create a lot of opportunities for us," he said.
"He has a wonder of a left foot. He caresses the ball and the passes seem to be of a perfect weight and right into people's strides."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also believed the former Werder Bremen star would improve the quality of the team's pass-and-move philosophy.
"We have a game that's based a lot on movement and he gives everyone time to be available on the ball. It's a kind of technical security and a creative side to his game that is very interesting," he pointed out.
"His final pass and his retention of the ball gives everybody time to move."
Arsenal will travel to Marseille in mid-week to begin their Champions League campaign.
