Agger, who was named Liverpool vice-captain after the retirement of Jamir Carragher, has been linked with Barcelona in their hunt for a new defender.
The Denmark international has reassured Liverpool fans that he fully intends to stay at the club despite interest from the Spanish champions.
"Barcelona are obviously a big club, but I have never thought about leaving Liverpool, unless they want to sell," Agger told Spanish newspaper Sport.
"Everyone at the club is an integral part of my life -- I even have a YNWA [You'll Never Walk Alone] tattoo! Frankly I don't mind if we don't finish in the top four, I love the club."
Agger's contract with Liverpool will finish in 2016.
