Zenit punished after crowd trouble

Dynamo Moscow have been awarded a 3-0 win by the Russian Football Federation after a flare thrown from the Zenit St Petersburg section prompted Saturday's clash between the sides to be abandoned.

Football News: Rowdy fans

The flare hurt Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunin, who was taken to hospital with an eye injury following the incident which saw the game halted after 36 minutes.

Visiting side Zenit, the two-time defending Russian champions, were also handed a fine of 1.1million rubles (£22,000) and will play their next two home games behind closed doors.

Dynamo did not emerge unpunished either and they will have to play their next home fixture without supporters present.
