European Football Tuesday Round-up

A summary of all the action around Europe on Tuesday.

Besiktas fans celebrate

Danish Superliga

Midtjylland moved second in the Superliga with a 1-0 victory over Horsens on Monday.

Substitute Jonas Borring scored the only goal in the 74th minute, six minutes after coming on, to earn the home team a seventh win in 11 games this season.

Amazingly, though, they remain eight points adrift of leaders Copenhagen, who are replicating the dominant form which saw them win the league by 26 points last season.

Turkish Super Lig

Besiktas were held to a goalless draw away to Gaziantepspor in Monday's only game in the Turkish Super Lig.

Portuguese Premeira Liga

Beira Mar had Joaozinho sent off in the 71st minute as they drew 0-0 at Gil Vicente in Monday's only game in the Liga.
