Top two set up final-day decider
The Ligue 1 title race will be decided on the final day of the season after Lyon and Bordeaux both won their penultimate fixtures on Saturday.
League leaders Lyon ran out 1-0 winners over Nancy thanks to a 69th-minute own goal from Andre Luiz and remain two points ahead of Bordeaux, who enjoyed a 2-0 success against Sochaux.
Fernando Menegazzo scored the opener for Les Girondins on the stroke of half-time before Marouane Chamakh added the second in the 58th minute.
Defending champions Lyon travel to Auxerre for their last match next Saturday while Bordeaux make the trip to relegation-threatened Lens.
Despite their loss, Nancy remain in third place but now hold just a one point advantage over Marseille in the battle for the final Champions League place following OM's goalless draw with Le Mans.
Le Mans had Samuel Bouhours sent off seven minutes after the interval but managed to hold off the Mediterranean club.
Strasbourg waved goodbye to the French top-flight after a sorry 4-1 rout at the hands of Caen.
The visitors took a 2-0 lead with goals from Julien Toudic and Manuel Dos Santos (own goal) before Strasbourg halved the deficit through Kevin Gameiro.
Yoan Gouffran restored Caen's two-goal advantage after 32 minutes while another strike from Toudic in the dying minutes sealed Strasbourg's fate.
They will join already-relegated Metz in Ligue 2 next season. Metz were beaten 2-1 by Lorient with goals from Rafik Saifi and Fabrice Abriel sandwiching Babacar Gueye's effort.
