Saudi League giants Al Nasr suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of lowly Abha after being reduced to eight men before the end of the match.

After a scoreless first half, Meshal Al Mutairi was the first to go in 69 minutes before Ahmed Al Bahri was sent packing also just six minutes later.

With nine men on the pitch Al Nasr lasted until the 89th minute before a strike from Mohamad Al Ameri finally gave Abha the lead.

There was still time, however, for Egyptian striker Hussan Ghali to receive his marching orders too in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Elsewhere, Al Ahli shared a 2-2 draw with Al Watani, who were relegated to the first division.

Ibrahim Kaabi gave Al Watani the lead after 21 minutes before Bader Al Kharashi levelled the scores 12 minutes later.

Al Ahli took the lead 12 minutes from time through Taisir Al Jassim, but with 87 minutes played Senegalese striker Makhete Diop struck to earn Al Watani a futile point.

Elsewhere, Al Hazm edged Najran 2-1 thanks to a brace from Ahmed Monawer while Al Raed hammered Al Wahda 6-3.
