Panthrakikos are facing a fight against relegation after suffering a 2-0 home defeat to FC Xanthi tonight, their fourth loss in a row.
Dimitrios Goutas got the opener six minutes before the break and Serge Die effectively wrapped it up against the struggling hosts with a second three minutes into the second half.
While the win puts Xanthi within four points of a play-off place for Europe, Panthrakikos are desperate to arrest a run of form that has left them third from bottom in the table.
