Global leave it late; Stallion maintain chase
Global left it late beat Philippine Air Force 2-0 at the Emperador Stadium on Tuesday to make it six wins out of six in the 2013 United Football League campaign.

Despite dominating their opponents, Global looked set to be denied all three points for the first time this season as they struggled to find a way past a resilient Air Force defence.
However, the breakthrough finally arrived in the 83rd minute when Jeffrey Christiaens headed home a Patrick Reichelt cross for his fourth goal in three matches, before Delon Patrick Yao wrapped up the victory a minute from time when he curled in a delightful effort.
The victory was enough to send Brian Reid's side back top of the table ahead of Loyola Meralco Sparks, but they are not the only ones with a perfect record after Stallion Sta. Lucia also made it 18 points from six matches with a 3-1 victory over Pachanga Diliman.
Stallion took the lead on the half-hour mark when South Korean import Lee Joo-young opened the scoring, before Reuben Doctora netted nine minutes later to double his side's tally.
Pachanga did pull one back in the 70th minute when Jason Cunliffe curled home a freekick to keep alive their hopes of a comeback, but those were extinguished eight minutes from time when Rufinho added a third for Stallion to wrap up the victory.
