Arsene Wenger's side currently sit five points from fourth-placed Chelsea who themselves are only two points away from Tottenham in third.

Therefore, Jenkinson is confident the Gunners can string together a good run of results in the remaining 10 games to at least end the season looking forward to UEFA Champions League football in the next campaign.

"There are two teams to chase and I don't think we can get too caught up in how they're doing," he told Arsenal Player.

"If we go on a good run now, we'll finish in the top four. I'm sure of that. If you look at Tottenham's run in, it's quite difficult. They've got some difficult games so we're going to hope that they drop points.

"If we focus on what we've got to do, I think it will take care of itself.

"It's in all the news [the run in]. It's on Sky Sports News so you can't really miss it. You see things like that and you would say that Tottenham have a more difficult run in than us.

"At this stage of the season, every game is difficult. The teams who are lower down in the table are fighting to stay up. At the back end of the season, there's no easy games so in some senses you can't always read too much into that."

Arsenals' final 10 games in Premier League begins with a trip to Swansea next weekend followed by a home game against Reading and ends away at Newcastle on the final day.
