Pjanic faces four week absence for Roma
Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has been ruled out for four weeks with an ankle injury, the club have confirmed.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international suffered the injury to his left ankle in Sunday's 3-1 win over Genoa and an MRI scan this morning revealed ligament damage.
The capital club announced on their website: "The prognosis is four weeks: the player will today [Tuesday] start the rehabilitation programme."
Twenty-two-year-old Pjanic has made 18 appearances in Serie A this season, including 15 starts.
