Seoul held on opening day of K-League
Champions FC Seoul twice failed to hold onto a lead as they had to settle for a 2-2 home draw against Pohang Steelers in their opening match of the K-League season.
Goals from Dejan Damjanovic (30 minutes) and Sergio Escudero (48) twice put Seoul in front but Pohang hit back both times through Shin Jin-ho (33) and Lee Myung-joo (84) to salvage a draw.
Ulsan Hyundai, who finished fourth last season, started their new campaign with a dramatic comeback win over Daegu.
Song Han-bok's fourth-minute strike looked set to earn visitors Daegu all three points but Ulsan netted twice in the final minutes to snatch victory, Kim Chi-gon equalising in the 89th minute before Kim Shin-wook struck a last-gasp winner.
In Saturday's other game Jeju United beat Chunnam Dragons 1-0 thanks to a 28th-minute goal from Brazilian Junior Santos.
