Despite going into the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 match-up with AC Milan as favourites, Barcelona suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to Massimiliano Alllegri's men.

With both sides set to meet again in two weeks' time for the second leg at the Camp Nou, Antic told La Xarxa Radio that the Catalans should go on an all-out attack if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the last eight of the competition.

"Barcelona have the quality to turn things around against Milan," he stated.

"It is much easier to attack and charge forward when you're 2-0 down than when it's only 1-0 in my opinion. You have nothing to lose when you're 2-0 down and must attack."

However, Tito Vilanova's men recently suffered another set-back, after they lost their Copa del Rey semi-final tie against arch rivals Real Madrid.

As such, Antic admitted that the Barcelona team might be going through a crisis of confidence at present.

"The important thing is that Barcelona believe in themselves and are convinced that they can make it happen," he said.

Barcelona will be presented with the opportunity to vindicate themselves against Real Madrid when the two teams clash in their El Clasico league game this weekend.
