Moratti: Winning Serie A not Inter's aim
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has revealed that the club had never harbored hopes of winning the Serie A this season.

The Nerazzurri got their Serie A campaign off to a good start last year, recording memorable wins over rivals AC Milan and defending champions Juventus along the way.
However, Inter Milan failed to extend their form into 2013, and Andrea Stramaccioni's men are now just one point above sixth-placed Fiorentina.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Moratti insisted that he was not worried by the gap between Inter and league leaders Juventus, as winning the title was never part of the plan.
"At one point this season everybody was convinced that we could fight for the title, but winning the Scudetto was never our objective at the start of the season," Moratti revealed.
Instead, the Italian urged the players to focus on seeing off competition from Lazio and the Rossoneri in order to secure a place in the Champions League.
"We are Inter so you can never really sat that out loud. It's clear, though, that we have a very young coach and some young players," he said.
"The important objective for me and for the other people at the club is qualifying for the Champions League. Not just from an economical point of view, but also from a sporting point."
Inter Milan host Chievo at the San Siro for their Serie A fixture next Monday.
