Tigres, Tijuana share spoils in summit clash
Lucas Lobos scored twice for Tigres Monterrey as their top-of-the-table clash with Tijuana ended 2-2.
Both sides had won all four of their Clausura matches coming into the game, but it was visitors Tijuana who struck first through Alfredo Moreno (13).
Lobos turned the game around with strikes in the 53rd and 65th minutes, but Duvier Riascos levelled for the Apertura champions 16 minutes from the end to ensure the points were shared.
Raul Jimenez scored twice as Club America moved to within a point of the leading pair with a 3-0 win over Queretaro.
Jimenez opened the scoring after 15 minutes for America, but they had to wait until the 70th minute for him to add a second, before Christian Benitez made it three from the spot three minutes from the end.
Cruz Azul remained unbeaten but they could only claim a 2-2 draw as winless Leon twice came from behind.
Twice Mariano Pavone (7, 72) twice put visiting Cruz ahead, but first Luis Montes (39) and then Juan Ignacio Gonzalez (75) equalised.
In the day's other game, Abraham Carreno scored the only goal in the 20th minute as Pachuca beat Toluca 1-0.
