Not sure they're old enough to drink that

Die Borussen are the reigning title holders of the DFB-Pokal, as Klopp's men soundly beat rivals Bayern Munich 5-2 in Berlin last season to lift the cup.

With Dortmund struggling in the league - they are currently a massive 12 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich - and Klopp know that their best chance of lifting a trophy this season would be to win the DFB-Pokal.

However, Dortmund will first have to navigate their way past a tricky tie against Mirko Slomka's Hannover, and while Klopp knows his charges are in for a tough game, the 45-year-old remains confident his charges can go all the way in this competition again this season.

"We know it´s going to be tough but we also know about the reward at stake," Klopp was quoted as saying by the official Dortmund website.

"We have a huge desire to experience an event like the one in Berlin in May again. It was one of the best days of our lives.

"I´m really up for this game.

"It doesn´t matter if it´s August, December or March, the cup is an attractive competition. We want to give our all, and it will show."

With the game set to take place in the Westfalenstadion, Klopp has called on the home fans to give their full support and backing to the team.

"We might need some help, I would like to have the advantage of a home game," Klopp added.

"No one who´s in the stadium on Wednesday will probably experience a year like 2012 ever again."

Klopp also dismissed suggestions that his players were feeling the effects of a long run of games, with the clash against Hannover set to be their 47th competitive match for the year.

"We are still fit enough!" Klopp declared.

"And what about Hannover? They have even played a couple of games more than us.

"For 96, Wednesday´s tie will be their 53rd competitive match of the year!"

This will be both clubs' last game of the year before they head off to their traditional winter break.
